Salary: $17,463 - $20,575 per quarter base (at 100%FTE)

The Communication Studies department is seeking instructors for in-person/hybrid communication studies courses. Instructors teach college-level communication studies courses to transfer students and professional-technical students. They also contribute to the department's efforts to improve student retention and success.

Physical Work Environment:
The College is currently in mixed (both in-person and online) operations, with the option of some assignments to be completed in an online environment based on program or area needs. For remote (online) instruction, faculty will need to provide their own workspace and internet access, noting the College will provide technical equipment and support for online work needs. For in-person instruction, work is usually performed in a classroom/office space that requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time. Faculty typically use computers and media equipment in the work environment.

Shoreline CC does not currently sponsor HB-1 visas. Other conditions that may apply will be detailed upon the offer of employment. This position is overtime exempt.
